So this week I have gone to VBS and helped in the nursery 2 days and that has been good. I've enjoyed getting to know some of the people at Stacy's church. On Tuesday, we dropped the kids off and Matt and I met with an architect to talk about our house plan. We think he's going to be really helpful in adjusting the plan we have drawn to make it work the best for our family and be the most energy efficient....if we can afford him, that is! Then on Thursday we met with some real estate agents who talked to us about what they thought we could sell our house for and what they would do to sell it for us if we decide to hire them. We are still thinking it will be the fall before we can do anything.
So that has been our mornings this week. We have also worked on house plan stuff, worked on gym stuff, given Joshua another swimming lesson (this one went really well!), taken some things to the Burmese family, gone to the grocery store, cleaned the house, etc. etc! The boys have enjoyed our baby pool a few times this week and have ended up covered head to toe in wet sand, which is always fun! Julia has done well through it all, though she seems to have picked up a little runny nose this week. It's funny how fast we get used to everyone being healthy! Seems like forever since we've been sick.
So I need to run now...last day of VBS begins in an hour! Check out this movie Matt made for his gym this week. Last night he and I had to make the soundtrack using the "Garage Band" program on our computer. Pretty tough, but very cool!

Great job on the video!!!
1. love that your boys wrestled at vbs :)
2. what are joshua's swim lessons like? curious what stage of swimming he's in
3. cool video!! praying for a successful gym! i wondered what garage band was... it's on mine, too.. do you do the video there too or just the music?
Here's where we are so far with Joshua's swimming: not crying!! (that's a major accomplishment); we play a game where we put things that sink on the bottom step and he has to get his head in the water to reach down and get them; he holds onto the step and kicks in the water (he's starting to get a feel for how it feels to float); and he goes across the pool kicking and holding on to me or a kickboard that I'm holding. Today he also pushed off a little into my arms, so extending that will be the next step...think it will take awhile!
Matt made the movie in iMovie and then added the soundtrack.
Good job on the video & glad you've had a good week @ VBS!
Carly didn't cry her last swim lesson either-whoohoo! And I motivated the girls w/ sundaes @ McDonald's to do a couple of other things they wouldn't normally do. I play the game you mentioned w/ Abby too-we use a penny :) Carly isn't there yet though...
