Museums!

We've been taking advantage of some nice museums in the area lately. Today we went to the (free!) science museum in downtown Raleigh and the boys really enjoyed seeing lots of animals, alive and once alive. Julia was a trooper and hung in there for awhile before taking her nap in the stroller. Apparently there are several other free museums in the area and the boys are at a great age for them, so maybe we'll check out another one this summer.
Boys love bugs!
Gray the ant
Gray running from the loud ringing of the bell. He and Joshua went under the bell to make it happen:)
Studying dinosaurs with Nanny
Wondering what this big thing is...and taking a break with Mommy while the boys and Nanny enjoyed a story time with live animals. Gray even got to touch a snake!
There was a really cute and expressive turtle swimming around like crazy in this aquarium. Julia was so excited and cried when we left him.
And another museum! We did this one last week and my camera did not last long, but this is a shot of the boys before we took a little train ride through part of the property of the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham.
Julia the drummer. There was so much more to this museum than I got on camera. We saw a bear and some lemurs, farm animals and wolves, got to play with sailboats and climb on a big playground, and went through a butterfly house. The boys loved it so much that Matt took them back the next day for more fun...thanks to Nanny for the year pass!
